You leave with a plan, a roadmap, and the confidence that you can do this.

You are booking two things at once here, held in the same place, at the same time.It is a real retreat. A beautiful one, across two of central Vietnam's most extraordinary places, run the way a retreat is meant to be run. You will practice, you will rest, you will eat some of the best food in Asia, you will be looked after. You will feel, from the inside, what an excellent retreat feels like, the pacing of the days, the care in the details, the way a good space is held. And that matters, because you cannot build something you have never experienced. You will launch your retreat having lived inside a well-run one.And it is where your retreat business becomes real. This is not a retreat where you sit and listen to me talk. It is a working immersion. You will spend real, protected time working on your own retreat business, with structure, with guidance, and with the groundwork actually getting done while you are here. By the time you leave, the thing you have been circling for months or years will have taken shape in front of you.The magic of it is that these two things are not separate. You are learning to run a retreat by being inside a well-run one, and building your business in the exact environment where the life you are working toward already exists. The teaching is woven through the living. The work happens in a place that reminds you, every single day, why you are doing it.It is work. It is also restful, and fun. You will laugh, you will make friends, you will explore ancient streets and soak in hot springs and eat long dinners with people who understand your world without you having to explain it. That combination, real work and real joy, in a place like this, alongside people on the same path, is the whole point.

What this is

This immersion takes you into the cultural heart of central Vietnam, across two places that sit a couple of hours apart and centuries deep in history. We begin in Hoi An, a UNESCO World Heritage town and one of the most beautiful places in all of Vietnam. Once a thriving international trading port, its old town is a living time capsule of centuries-old shophouses, hidden courtyards, and the famous Japanese covered bridge, where Vietnamese, Chinese, Japanese, and European influences are woven into the very streets. By night, thousands of silk lanterns light the riverside and the whole town glows. It is a place of craft, of colour, of extraordinary food. We stay in a boutique villa a short distance from the busy old town, in a peaceful, quiet area, close enough to be immersed in it, but calm enough to work and rest. Then we travel to Hue, Vietnam's ancient imperial capital, where the Nguyen dynasty built their citadel along the Perfume River. Here we stay in a wellness valley set among fifty hectares of forest in the foothills of the Truong Son mountains, built around a legendary natural hot spring, with a Japanese-style onsen, movement therapies, and a deep, restorative calm. It is a change of pace from the buzz of Hoi An, and a beautiful example of how one retreat can hold two very different energies.Experiencing two different places will make you feel, first-hand, how a multi-location retreat is designed and held, what changes when you move a group between places, and how the right combination of settings can create something far richer than a single venue ever could. You are immersing yourself in Vietnamese culture, tasting the food, walking among the rice fields, visiting UNESCO sites, bathing in mineral hot springs, and at the same time you are seeing all of it through the eyes of a retreat leader.

Where we are going

This immersion is for you if you are a yoga or wellness facilitator, breathwork guide, meditation teacher, somatic practitioner, or coach ready to build a real business around your practice. It is for you if:

You want to run retreats but have not been shown how to build them. Maybe you have never run one, or you have run one or two and sensed they could have earned far more, and felt far less stressful, than they did.

The idea of filling a retreat scares you more than planning it. The fear of announcing a retreat and watching no one book, of not knowing how to reach people beyond your own circle, of marketing something you love without feeling pushy, is what stops most facilitators, and what we work through here.

You are tired of the gap between the effort you put in your practice and what comes back, between the life you picture and the one you are living, between wanting to run retreats and having real people booked onto one.

You have had enough of information that leads nowhere. You have read the articles and watched the videos and let it all drift, and you know you need to actually do the work, with support, among people on the same path.

You want to build this without losing yourself in it, without selling in a way that makes you cringe, and without abandoning the values that made you want to do this work in the first place.

If that is you, you are exactly who this was built for. This is not for someone looking for a purely passive holiday, or someone who wants to be handed a business without doing the work. You will be supported every step of the way, but the plan you leave with will be yours, because you built it.

Who this is for

Most retreats send you home with a feeling. This one sends you home with a feeling and a plan. By the time you leave, you will have done real groundwork on your own retreat business. Exactly how far you get depends on where you start and how much you pour in, but you will leave with forward motion on things like:

A clear vision for the kind of retreat business you want to build, the themes, the places, the people you want to serve, and how it all fits the life you actually want.

The beginnings of a real financial picture for your first retreat, so that pricing stops being a guess you make nervously and becomes a decision you make with confidence.

The start of a real marketing plan, how you will actually fill your retreat, using the audience you already have and the trust you have already built, without needing a huge following.

A sense of the shape of your first retreat, where, when, for whom, and what it needs to deliver.

A roadmap, the actual next steps in order, so that when you get home you are not staring at a blank page. You are simply continuing work you have already started.

And because you will have spent a week here, in Vietnam, you will leave with something most facilitators never get: a real, first-hand feel for this part of the world as a retreat destination. You will have seen the venues, understood how things work on the ground, learned what running a retreat here actually involves, and begun to build the local knowledge and connections that make a destination retreat possible. If Vietnam, or a place like it, is somewhere you want to run your own retreat one day, you will leave far closer to being able to do it.But the thing you will really leave with is harder to put on a list. It is the shift from I hope I can do this to I know I can. It is what happens when you spend a week among people building the same thing, guided by someone who has done it, in a place that shows you the life is real. You will leave lighter, and you will leave clearer. And you will leave with the momentum to carry it all home.

What you will leave with

Every day holds both threads, the experience and the building, woven together.Mornings begin the way a good retreat should, with practice, with stillness, with space to arrive in your body. This is part of the experience, and it is also part of the teaching: you are feeling how a morning is held, what it does to a group, why it matters. The heart of each day is the work, and it will take several forms.

There is focused working time on your own retreat business, with real structure and guidance, where the groundwork actually gets done. This is where we work through the things that usually stop people, the financial model that makes a retreat actually profitable, the marketing and launch plan that fills it, the legal and practical pieces that make it real.

There is one-to-one time with me, dedicated space to work through your specific business, your specific retreat, your specific blocks. This is where the general becomes personal, where we look at your numbers, your idea, your situation, and work out your actual next move.

There is peer work and shared reflection with the other facilitators here, and this is one of the most valuable parts of the whole week. You will build alongside people who understand exactly what you are trying to do, who are wrestling with the same fears and the same questions. You will sense-check each other's ideas, share what you know, and listen to each other's experiences. For a lot of people, this is the part that changes everything, that sense of community that motivates you and makes the journey feel far less lonely.

There are visiting experts, specialists in areas that matter to your business, who join us to share what they know and answer your questions directly. You will hear from people working in this world, learn what support is genuinely available to facilitators, and leave with a wider sense of what is possible and who can help you.

And there are location and venue visits, where we see real venues and places on the ground, so you understand what to look for, what to ask, and what running a retreat somewhere actually involves. You will start to see destinations the way a retreat leader sees them, not just as beautiful places, but as places where an experience can be built.

And then there is the rest of it, which matters just as much.Long meals together. Free time to wander, swim, journal, or simply do nothing. The connections that happen when a group of like-minded people share a beautiful place for a few days. This is a working week, but it does not feel like hard work, because it is happening in a place, and among people, that make the work feel like the most natural thing in the world. You leave each day having built something and having enjoyed yourself.

The shape of your days

There is no shortage of people teaching yoga and wellness teachers how to run retreats. But this is different.

Most retreat training treats a retreat as an event. This treats it as a business. The common approach is to teach you how to plan one retreat, choose a destination, sketch an itinerary, pick the activities, and work out the money afterwards. Here, the business comes first. You build the financial picture before you commit to anything, so you know your retreat will actually profit before you launch it. Every decision flows from that, not the other way around.

Most retreat training barely covers the hardest part: filling the retreat. Marketing is where most facilitators freeze. Here, filling your retreat is treated as central, not optional. We work through how to actually reach people and turn interest into bookings, using the community and the trust you already have, in a way that never asks you to become someone you are not.

Most retreat training is watched. This is lived. You could learn the theory of retreats entirely from behind a screen, videos, templates, group calls, and never once feel what a well-run retreat is actually like from the inside. But a retreat is a felt thing. The pacing, the holding, the hundred invisible details, none of it lands until you have experienced it. Here, you learn to run a retreat by living inside one. That is not a bonus but the method.

Most retreat training leaves you alone with the hardest part. This does the hardest part with you. Information is easy to find. What is rare, and what actually gets a retreat built, is doing the work with support, alongside people on the same path, in an environment that makes finishing feel possible. That is what breaks the cycle of inspiration and paralysis that stops most facilitators before they ever begin. You will not go home with a folder of notes and good intentions. You will go home having already started.

There is nothing else quite like this: a working immersion for facilitators, run in the kinds of places you dream of running your own retreats, where you experience an excellent retreat, build your own business on the ground, work one-to-one with someone who has done it, learn from visiting experts, and do it all alongside a room of people building the same dream.

Why this is unlike any other retreat

I know what it is to want a life that everyone around you doubts is possible.I started out in the events and PR world in Milan, and on paper it was a good career. In reality it was burning me out.So I left.I spent a year backpacking around Australia and then lived in Germany, Spain, Indonesia, England and many more places, and slowly built a life around the work I actually cared about, co-creating and running retreats, working from wherever I choose to be, and sustaining myself entirely through work that aligns with my values. The life I am helping you build is one I have built myself. I am not selling you a dream I have only imagined. I am showing you a path I have already walked.I have spent more than a decade at the intersection of two worlds that rarely meet: professional event management and marketing on one side, and the yoga and wellness world on the other.I have over ten years of event management behind me, at five-star hotels, international conferences, and national charity campaigns. And I have spent just as long inside the retreat and wellness world, attending, reviewing, promoting, and co-creating retreats across Europe and Asia.I come from both worlds, and that combination is the reason I can help you build a retreat business that is both profitable and true to who you are.I also don't just teach this from opinion.I ran original research with yoga and wellness facilitators and retreat professionals across six continents, asking them directly about their real experiences, struggles, and needs around retreats. It is some of the most specific data that exists in this niche, and it means the way I teach is grounded in what facilitators actually face and need. But underneath all of the experience, the reason I do this is simpler.I believe the people with a real gift for this work should not have to keep it as a side project unless they want to.I believe the world needs more of the experiences you create, and that the person creating them deserves to build a real life around it.I have watched too many gifted facilitators give up, not because they lacked the talent, but because nobody ever showed them the business side. This immersion, and everything I do, exists to make sure that does not happen to you.

You are booking two things at once here, held in the same place, at the same time.It is a real retreat.A beautiful one, on the hidden north west coast of Bali, run the way a retreat is meant to be run. You will practice, you will rest, you will eat beautifully, you will spend time in the sea, and you will be looked after from the moment you arrive. You will feel, from the inside, what an excellent retreat actually feels like: the pacing of the days, the care in the small details, the way a good space holds a group. That matters, because you cannot build something you have never experienced. Most people who go to Bali never see this side of it. They land in the south, among the traffic, the crowds, and the beach clubs, and they never make it to the quiet coast in the far north west, where this retreat takes place. Here, Bali is a different island altogether. The coastline is calm and clear, the sea flat as glass in the mornings, with coral reefs that begin just metres from the shore. This is a landscape of small fishing villages, sea temples set against the hills, and tall green mountains that rise sharply behind the coast, with views that reach across the Bali Sea all the way to the volcanoes of Java, up to seventy kilometres away. It is one of the last parts of Bali where the island's older, slower rhythm still holds, unspoiled, deeply traditional, and almost untouched by mass tourism. The sea is at the heart of it. Just offshore lies some of the best snorkelling and diving in all of Bali, including the protected reefs of Menjangan Island, a small uninhabited island within the West Bali National Park, where the water is calm and clear and the coral is healthier than almost anywhere else on the island. There are turtles, reef drop-offs, dolphins at dawn, and a renowned community reef-restoration project growing new coral just off the beach. On land, there is the national park to trek, sea temples to visit, and village life, weaving, offerings, ceremony, that still follows its own ancient calendar. This is Bali the way it used to be, and the way most travellers never get to know it. It is exactly the kind of place a retreat comes alive in: restorative, beautiful, and different. And there is a good chance this place is already calling you. Maybe you have dreamed of running your own retreat in Bali, or somewhere like it, and want to understand what that actually takes. Maybe nature and the sea are central to the retreats you want to create. Or maybe you simply love this island and have always wanted to know the side of it the crowds never see. Whichever it is, this immersion gives you both the experience and the practical knowledge to turn that pull into a retreat you could genuinely run.

Most retreats send you home with a feeling. This one sends you home with a feeling and a plan. Chiang Mai has drawn people looking to slow down for a very long time, and once you are here, it is easy to see why. This is northern Thailand: a landscape of jungle-covered mountains, misty valleys, rice terraces, and hill-tribe villages, wrapped around a city with an ancient soul, once the capital of the Lanna Kingdom, and still one of the warmest, most creative places in Asia.We base ourselves just outside the city, far enough from the bustle to feel the peace of rural northern Thailand, close enough to reach the markets, the temples, and the food the region is famous for. From here, the north opens up, and there is a great deal to explore. There are the mountains, cool, green, and threaded with waterfalls and trails, the landscape that makes the north feel like a different country from the beaches of the south. There is the food, and here it comes in two halves.

At the lodge, every meal is fresh Lanna and Shan home cooking, the food of northern Thailand and the Shan people of neighbouring Myanmar, earthy, herbal, and unlike the Thai food most people know, much of it grown or made right where we stay.

Out in the world, we explore the wider flavours of the region: the markets, the street food, and the dishes Chiang Mai is famous for.

There is the deep, living culture of the Lanna and hill-tribe communities, and the chance to experience their crafts, traditions, and way of life first-hand, an older, gentler Thailand that still moves to its own rhythm. And there are the elephants. Northern Thailand is elephant country, and we spend time with them the right way, at an ethical sanctuary where there is no riding and no touching, only rescued elephants living freely, and the chance to observe them and understand them with respect. This is a part of the world that feeds you, in every senseAnd there is a good chance this place is already calling you. Maybe you have dreamed of running your own retreat in Thailand, or somewhere like it, and want to understand what that actually takes. Maybe nature, food, and culture are central to the retreats you want to create. Or maybe you simply love this part of the world and have always wanted to know it more deeply. Whichever it is, this immersion gives you both the experience and the practical knowledge to turn that pull into a retreat you could genuinely run.

Most retreats send you home with a feeling. This one sends you home with a feeling and a plan. By the time you leave, you will have done real groundwork on your own retreat business.Exactly how far you get depends on where you start and how much you pour in, but you will leave with forward motion on things like:

And because you will have spent a week here, in northern Thailand, you will leave with something most facilitators never get: a real, first-hand feel for this part of the world as a retreat destination. You will have understood how things work on the ground, learned what running a retreat here actually involves, and begun to build the local knowledge and connections that make a destination retreat possible. If Thailand, or a place like it, is somewhere you dream of running your own retreat one day, you will leave far closer to being able to do it.But the thing you will really leave with is harder to put on a list. It is the shift from I hope I can do this to I know I can. It is what happens when you spend a week among people building the same thing, guided by someone who has done it, in a place that shows you the life is real. You will leave lighter, and you will leave clearer. And you will leave with the momentum to carry it all home.

And then there is the rest of it, which matters just as much.Long, shared meals of Lanna and Shan home cooking. A day with the rescued elephants at an ethical sanctuary. Time in the mountains, and at a waterfall. The markets and the wider food of Chiang Mai. The crafts and traditions of the Lanna and hill-tribe communities. Free time to wander the gardens, rest, or explore. The kind of connection that only comes when a group of like-minded people share a beautiful place for a few days. This is a working week, but it never feels like hard work, because of where it happens, and who you are doing it alongside. This is a working week, but it does not feel like hard work, because it is happening in a place, and among people, that make the work feel like the most natural thing in the world. You leave each day having built something and having enjoyed yourself.
